Shortest Fuse
A downloadable game for Windows
Experience the full story of the Short Fuse factory, taking the side of the employee tasked with defusing wacky bombs, the person creating them, and the one paying the price! This is a bundle of Short Fuse, Fuse Short, and Short Fuse: The Short Stick, three games created for RPI's Experimental Game Design class.
Short Fuse
For one reason or another, your employer has a LOT of bombs. And because you signed the paperwork (not that you knew what you were getting into), you need to defuse each and every bomb! Did we mention that these bombs are all about to explode? Don't worry, all you need to do is snip the red wires. Good luck!
Fuse Short
Way back in the time of Short Fuse, there was someone on the other end of the intercom to help you on your way. Well... not really help, but they were there, that's for sure. Now you can finally experience a piece of what's on the other side of the intercom! Play as an average office worker whose only job is to make bombs!
Short Fuse: The Short Stick
There are many facets to the Short Fuse Factory. It's what makes the bomb tick, if you will. In this adventure, it's your job to determine who is crucial to the extended success of the Short Fuse Factory. And if no one is crucial? Well I'm sure an AI can replace them. No problem! Right?
Short Fuse: Company Time
So, maybe the AI have gone too far this time... Now there's nothing left to do except play games all day! Maybe your coworkers are up to something interesting?
How To Play
Shortest Fuse is meant to be played with the mouse. Click on a bomb with left click and use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out.
In Short Fuse, your goal is to find and defuse each bomb as fast as possible. This is done by clicking on all of the red wires on the bomb.
In Fuse Short, your goal is to create the bombs to spec. Click on the bomb the spec calls for (as seen in the top left monitor) and construct it so it has the same number of red and normal wires (seen as a red and white number respectively.) When done, press the "GO" button.
In The Short Stick, your goal is to pick up files from the fax machine and determine what the best course of action is. Once you've decided and filled out the form, click in the signature area to sign! The camera view can be changed with the scroll wheel.
In Company Time, your goal is to get to the end of the stag within the time limit. Change the camera view with the scroll wheel and turn on the monitor by clicking on the power button. Control the character with W/D and jump with space.
